Description
"Kanakambaram, or Crossandra infundibuliformis, is a tropical shrub that is grown as a potted plant in the colder climates (below 40°F). In India it is known as Kanakambaram in the South and Aboli or priyadarsha in the Northern States. The Salmon to Orange flowers are often strung along with Jasmine flowers into strands and used to adorn women's hair . The tube-shaped blossoms are flattened into a 5-lobed ring. The plant can grow from 2-3 feet tall outdoors.
