Shipping policy

  • We offer free tracking via USPS.  When your package is shipped you will receive an email from STAMPS.COM with the subject line " Ravi Prasad has sent you a package, or Seeds of India has sent you a package" with your tracking #. Check your Spam folder and email settings if you do not receive the email. Reach out to customer service if you do not receive your tracking #. You will also be able to track your order through Shopify/SHOP app.
  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed by us. We ship our orders promptly, but do not guarantee the delivery times of the shipping carriers.
  • If your package is marked as delivered but not received, we will help with you submit a USPS missing mail inquiry. You may also be asked to do some due diligence on your end to track down your package. Failure to cooperate will abandon any of our further assistance.  If your package is still not found, and USPS is able to provide us with proof of delivery and your package does not have insurance, you will be asked to order again.  If your package has insurance, then you can either 1. order immediately and claim the insurance yourself. 2. If you do not want to order again, then you can have us claim the insurance, and we will reship your order upon approval of the insurance claim from the USPS(we cannot predict how long this will take). Any other  relevant situation not expressed here will be considered on a case to case basis.   No refunds can be given on orders that have already been shipped.
  • It is your responsibility to check your mail when ordering live plants. It is also your responsibility to know whether your community uses a parcel locker, or other areas to store delivered packages.
  • We are not responsible for any domestic or overseas packages that are declined by your local regulatory agencies.  Please check your local regulations before placing your orders regarding what is allowed in your particular region or country. 
  • For international orders: We do not collect customs fees on your purchase. We are not responsible for any Customs or import fees/taxes imposed by your local regulatory agencies. We are also not responsible for any brokerage fees imposed by shipping carriers. 

 


For Canada customers:  Please note that seeds are a regulated commodity. We are not responsible for, nor do we collect custom duties. These will be assessed by your local customs agency upon delivery. The shipping carrier will also assess a brokerage fee for clearing the package through customs. You have the ability to try to clear the package yourself through customs to avoid paying the brokerage fee. This can be coordinated with UPS directly, not through us. We have no control over this process. By ordering from us, you agree to pay this duties/taxes and other application fees and accept that you will not be eligible for replacement or refund if you reject the delivery/ do not pay your custom duty. For Canada Orders, you can choose between UPS and USPS. In our experience, UPS is faster, but will have a higher brokerage fee leading to a higher amount due upon delivery. USPS service to Canada can take longer but will have a lower COD amount. These statements are in no way a guarantee of what fees the local government and shipping carrier will charge to you, but this has been our experience. We now offer both options to give you a choice between speed and cost. 


Reminder: We cannot ship live plants to Canada.

For all other international customers:  Officially we only ship to the United States and Canada at this time. Due to changing import regulations across the globe, we had to suspend our service across the world. We have found that many of our international customers still would like to take the risk.
If you are ordering from a country outside of the United States or Canada, you accept the above terms, and also accept that we will ship seeds to you completely at your risk. If you do not receive your seeds and they are not returned to us, you will be ineligible for refund. If you do not receive your seeds but they are returned to us, we will refund you the cost of the seeds, but not the shipping.
