Description
Kashmiri Chili is a type of hot pepper, or Capsicum annuum. It is valued for its moderate pungency and deep red color. This makes it a versatile choice for imbuing deep color and flavor into dishes without making them too spicy. They can also be used green and fresh, but are most commonly dried when they turn red. They are primarily grown in Jammu and Kashmiri, but due to their increased popularity can be found growing as far south as Goa where they are harvested in the Winter season.
