Cantaloupe-Hale's Best Jumbo

Hales Best Jumbo is a melon, or Cucumis melo var. cantalupensis. An old, classic favorite dating from the 1920s, this ribbed melon has a heavily netted skin. A heirloom variety, it combines excellent flavor and earliness. Large and oval, well-netted, small seed cavity, salmon flesh, expect fruit around 87 days.
