Description
Roselle, Green Stemmed Gongoora, or Ambada Bhaji is a light green stemmed, tangy vegetable that has edible lobed leaves. The fleshy sepal (calyx) has intense red color and tastes acidic. It is sometimes used as a cranberry substitute it is used to make jelly and juice. It is also known to be a mild laxative and mild diuretic. Or, use the the leaves and young stems raw in salads or cooked as a vegetable.
