Desert Rose Plant

Desert Rose Plant, or Adenium obesum, is a flowering plant that is is in the same botanical family as Frangipani. Also known as Sabi star, kudu and mock azalea, it is indigenous to Africa, but has over time become a popular fixture in many Indian households.

It is an evergreen succulent and is characterized by its disproportionately large stems and swollen basal caudex.  This effect can only be achieved from seed from plants, not from cuttings. Our offer is for seed grown plants which have/ are capable of developing swollen basal caudex. The eye-catching flowers are reminiscent of Plumeria and are commonly used as houseplants/ bonsai as they are very easy to take care of because they are very drought tolerant do not require much care.

Planting Guidance: These plants are drought tolerant and should be allowed to dry between waterings as they are prone to root rot if overwatered. They do well in good lighting, but should be protected from cold.
