Description
Brahma Kamal, or Epiphyllum oxypetalum is a plant that has large beautiful white flowers. It seldom blooms, and when it does, it blooms at night. Before morning the flowers are dried up, which is why this cactus is also referred to as Queen of the Night. Some consider it good luck to be in the presence of one these gems in bloom! These plants are very tough and require minimal light and watering. They make an excellent addition to any house plant collection as they require very little care to flourish.
Current offer is for starter plant in 2.5" pot
*This item is not to be confused with Saussurea obvallata, the true Brahma Kamal plant. Saussurea obvallata is an endangered, high altitude species, indigenous to the Himalayas. Epiphyllum oxypetalum has come to be the common substitute for the rare and legendary Saussurea obvallata, hence its nascent adoption of the moniker Brahma Kamal.
