Description
The Belle of India is a Jasminium sambac, which is an everblooming, very fragrant variety with long slender oval buds which open to pure white double blooms. Heavenly Jasmine scent. Likes warmth and strong light. Upright vining growth habit. The "Belle of India" jasmine is a popular flower used in India during worship often offered to Lord Vishnu. The flowers are also used to make garlands and adorn women's hair. Called pikake in Hawaii.
